3-D Printing Human Body Parts

3D-printers are all the rage these days. Universities and R&D departments all over the world are exploring ways to print mechanical prosthetics and even biomatter. Growing human body parts using 3D printing technology could happen sooner than people realize.

For the time being, prosthetics are highly-functional standard models but aesthetically imperfect. At Californian company "3D Systems," researchers are confident they can develop the technology to create custom prosthetic limbs with the help of 3D printers, iPad-scans and Cloud blueprints. But many scientists are skeptical.
