A Pakistani-American has been arrested in New York in connection with the failed car bombing in Times Square

Police in the United States have arrested a man in connection with the failed car bombing in New York's Times Square. They have identified the suspect as a US citizen of Pakistani origin. The 30 year old was arrested at an airport in New York. He had reportedly recently returned from a five-month trip to Pakistan. The US Attorney General says the investigation is now focusing on "overseas" terrorist groups.
