American black civil rights leader Martin Luther King was assassinated 40 years ago.

He was the youngest person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. In the eastern German town of Werdau the country's only Martin Luther King Centre has been working hard to preserve the legacy of the US freedom fighter.
