Ancient Burundi melodic greeting under threat

In Burundi, the tradition of akazehe is in decline. It's a form of greeting sung in polyphonic melody, a tradition exclusively performed by women. But among young Burundians, it's hard to find people who know what akazehe means — and even harder to find someone who can perform it.
