Somehow Germans seem to succeed in turning polar bears into a lifestyle craze. Knut, for example, made it all the way to the cover of the American magazine Vanity Fair, and Munich's Hellabrunn Zoo managed to create quite a hype over polar bear twins. Even now, ten months after they were born, Nela and Nobby are still the major attraction.
