Manuela, 17, and her three sisters fled war and catastrophic famine in South Sudan. In the Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya, they're seeking to rebuild their lives.

With more than 20 million people in Yemen and parts of Africa facing starvation and famine, the world faces the largest humanitarian crisis since the end of the Second World War, the United Nations has warned. Turkana County in Kenya, on the border to South Sudan, is especially hard hit. Here, nomadic tribes are struggling with one of the worst droughts of recent decades. Thousands of refugees fleeing civil war and famine in South Sudan pass through the region on their way to the Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya - among them 17-year-old Manuela Nyoka and her three sisters.
