Before the crisis, Libya produced two percent of the world's oil... that may not be much, but the markets are wondering whether the kind of chaos seen in Libya could spread to other OPEC members, and become a major threat to oil supplies. So far the only real impact in Europe has been rising prices at the petrol pumps.
