Focus: German presidential scandals lingers

Germany's beleaguered President Christian Wulff is under attack from the media and the opposition over a financial and alleged hush-up scandal. Wulff has faced growing pressure to step down since December, when it emerged that he failed to declare a private loan when he was state premier of Lower Saxony in 2008.
