South by Southwest (SXSW) was first held in Austin, Texas, as a music festival. But the "Interactive" component has been growing in size and significance to become one of the largest of its kind anywhere. Start-ups from the world over have an opportunity to present their ideas to the media and potential investors at the SXSW Accelerator competition. Among them this year was the Berlin start-up Splash with its concept for a 360-degree video app for smartphones.
