Good Neighbours: Opening Germany's Border with Poland - pp 10.12.2007

On December 21, as part of the Schengen Agreement, border controls between Germany and Poland will be lifted, allowing travellers to cross freely between the two countries. But this change isn't welcomed by everyone. Many who live in the border region fear an increase in crime and the German police union has also expressed misgivings. We report from the German-Polish border.
