The safety of autonomous vehicles has been called into question after a pedestrian was run over by Uber’s driverless car last week. But that recent incident hasn’t stopped Google’s autonomous car development company, Waymo, from making announcing that it is teaming up with Jaguar to develop the first electric driverless luxury vehicle.
