Hollande: down but not out

In France last Sunday, the second and final round of local elections resulted in an historic defeat for the ruling Socialist Party whose most prominent figure -Francois Hollande- still has three years to go as President. The main beneficiary of the swing to the right was Nicolas Sarkozy's UMP party. But the National Front won control of several towns and cities too. John Laurenson reports.
