Hotels for Soccer Stars (5) - Villa Sassa Hotel in Locarno for the Swedish national soccer team - euromaxx 16.05.2008

The Swedish national soccer team for the European championship is setting up camp at the Villa Sassa Hotel in Locarno. Nestled in the Swiss Alps, the four-star Hotel has 120 rooms offering a spectacular view over Lake Lugano. Villa Sassa is flooded with light, style and elegance and offers a wide range of facilities including outside and inside pools, a bio sauna, and turkish baths, whilst the restaurant serves up seasonal Mediterranean cuisine on the terrace. Nicholas Labhart, the resident manager took time out to show us round. It will be his job to tend to the team's needs - a tough call for anyone once the competition gets into full swing.
