Hurricane Milton

The hurricane, which made landfall as a Category 3 storm, unleashed wind, flooding and heavy rain as it moved east over the US state of Florida.

The storm made landfall near Tampa Bay, a city on the Gulf of Mexico, on Wednesday evening before heading east over the state and out into the Atlantic Ocean. More than 3 million homes and businesses were still without power on Thursday.
