The Vatican is meant to be the moral authority of the Roman Catholic world. But Italian journalist Gianluigi Nuzzi sees it in a very different light. His latest book, published in English as Merchants in the Temple, claims the Vatican is financially mismanaged. His work also uncovers strong resistance to reform efforts since Pope Francis set up a body to investigate the Vatican's finances in 2013.
