Just over a year ago, more than 800 migrants drowned in the Mediterranean after their boat capsized off the coast of Libya. To prevent further loss of life, the European Union has started a maritime operation called "Operation Sophia." The German naval ship the "Frankfurt am Main" is part of the operation.
