Tohti awarded Sakharov Prize

Economist and Uighur activist Ilham Tohti has been awarded with the EU's Sakharov Prize, which honors people who defend human rights and freedoms. Tohti is serving a life sentence in prison in China. DW spoke with his daughter, Jewher Ilham.
