Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg is set to become Germany's new economics minister as Michael Glos steps down

Germany is set to get a new economics minister as the country faces its worst post-war recession. Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg has been proposed by the conservative Bavarian CSU as successor to Michael Glos, who surprised his party and the country by submitting his resignation this weekend. Just 37 years old, Zu Guttenberg is a rising star in German politics.
