Koehler discusses economy in India

German President Horst Koehler has arrived in India’s financial capital Mumbai. Koehler, who is travelling with a business delegation, will hold talks with Indian industrialists and business leaders there.

The President started his week long visit from New Delhi on Monday, where he met with the Indian President Pratibha Patil and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and has stressed his interest in boosting bilateral ties.

Germany is India's biggest trade partner in the EU with bilateral trade estimated at nearly 14 billion euros.
