Leaders from the US and the EU say a series of global summits is needed to solve the current financial crisis

The United States and the European Union have proposed a series of world summits on the current international financial crisis. US President Bush, his French Counterpart Nicolas Sarkozy and the head of the European Commission , Jose Manuel Barroso, agreed on the talks at Bush's retreat at camp David.
