Just when you thought you'd had enough of the Jedis and the Force, Lego has released a trailer for its upcoming video game, "Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens." The clip takes a gentle poke at the film.

Just as many in Germany are putting the finishing touches on their Finn and Darth Vader costumes ahead of Carnival celebrations this weekend, the Star Wars phenomenon has been empowered with fresh material. Lego released the official trailer to its upcoming Star Wars video game on Tuesday (02.02.2016).

The roughly 90-second clip traces the original film trailer for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," opening with a sweating Finn popping up in the desert and the words "There has been an awakening. Have you felt it?" Exclusively created with Lego figures that will make you say "awww," the trailer follows the film version, albeit with a little twist here and there, not to mention a large-scale smiley.

The game "Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens," set for release on June 28, 2016, bridges "Return of the Jedi" and "The Force Awakens." It will be available for all the usual formats, including Xbox, PlayStation, Wii U, Windows, and Nintendo 3DS.
