Fazil Say ist a world renowned pianst who has also made a name as a composer. After being commissioned to write an entire oratorium by the Turkish ministry of culture in 2001, Say has composed a great deal of works in which he eagerly mixes modern and traditional musical forms. As an avid football fan he needn’t be asked twice when approached to compose a symphony for his beloved Fenerbahce Instanbul team. We met up with the hot-blooded football fan.
