Heritage site threatened by rising seas

Gorée island, off the coast of Senegal, was once a transit point for the Atlantic slave trade and is now a World Heritage Site. But as the sea level rises, the island is being eroded away and protective dikes have collapsed under heavy rains, threating a unique piece of history.
