The secrets of Greenland's sliding ice

Greenland's ice sheet has been shrinking over the past few decades, sparking increased interest from scientists as it contributes to rising sea levels. Researchers drill through the surface to access ice cores, which can reveal a lot about the Earth's climate in the distant past. We spoke with a member of the East Greenland Ice Core Project to find out more about the importance of this research.
