New York for earlybirds

Tourists to the Big Apple can now enjoy a New York sunrise from the Empire State Building's outdoor observation deck.

30 minutes before sunrise, visitors can head up the 86th floor observatory to watch the sun come up on the city that never sleeps.   At $100 (about 90 euros),  tickets for the ‘sunrise experience’ are  about three times more expensive than tickets sold during standard opening hours. 

Over 4 million people visit the Empire State Building in New York every year. One of the most famous skyscrapers in the world, it’s open from 8am to 2 am 365 days of the year. Starting in October, it’s now also open at sunrise.
