Is everything allowed on the Internet? Should society really tolerate online pornography and gambling as much as does? In Germany, politicians are planning to adapt basic rights to the modern communication society. Family Minister Ursula von der Leyen, for example, wants legislation to tackle child pornography on the Internet. To many, such moves are long overdue, but to many advocates of the new media they are unacceptable.
