Russia is under international pressure to solve the murder of human rights activist Natalia Estemirova

The murder of Russian human rights campaigner Natalia Este-mirova has been condemned intenationally - with the European Union calling for a swift and thorough invesitgation. +++LM-REIN+++ Estemirova's body was discovered near the town of Nazran in the Republic of Ingushetia, just hours after her abduction in neighbouring Chechnya. There were multiple gunshot wounds to her head and chest. +++LM-RAUS+++ Estemirova worked for a group which publicized state abuses against Chechen civilians.
