Statue of Confederate leader removed in Kentucky

Workers in Kentucky have removed a statue of Confederate President Jefferson Davis from the State Capitol building in Frankfort. Calls to take down the monument grew in recent weeks amid nationwide protests over racism and police brutality. The Confederate states were in favor of slavery during the Civil War.
