Tdt:Bilanz from Bali - je 14.12.2007

Kay HagedornDecember 14, 2007

Welcome back. Delegates from 180 countries have spent the past two weeks in Bali trying to hammer out a framework for talks on an agreement to replace the Kyoto Protocol on cutting green house gas emissions. All parties, including industrialized nations, developing countries and emerging economies, want to do something about global warming, but the extent to which they are willing to go varies greatly. The biggest disputes have occurred between the EU, which is keen to lead by example, and the US which has refused to commit to binding targets.
