The biggest winners of these elections were the Free Democrats - or the FDP. They got their best result ever in post war Germany. FDP party leader Guido Westerwelle, has led the business friendly party for the past eight years- and he has finally achieved his goal of taking the party into government. He is young, eager and ambitious - and there are plenty of changes he wants to make.
