The nobel prize for peace serves not only as an award, but also as a kind of obligation and committment to global issues. The founder of the prize Alfred Nobel, meant it to be awarded to individuals working to make the world a better place. We look back now at some of the winners, who have worked to resolve conflicts in places such as Indonesia, Burma and in the middle east.
