What do architects, activists, city planners and repair shops in Buenos Aires have in common? They are working together to make the Argentinian capital more bicycle-friendly and keep the city from sinking further into traffic chaos.

In our new web documentary, we invite you to explore the city on two wheels and see how bikes are slowly gaining ground. Our reporter Julia Heinrichmann visited a bicycle festival, accompanying activists and residents along their way. Her interactive, multimedia report follows the city’s efforts to transform the way people get around.
