Unemployment rate in OECD states rises to 10 percent

Despite increasing signs the recession is coming to an end, the OECD, which represents the interests of the world's most powerful economies, says the labour market will remain weak. The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development says 15- Mmillion people in the club's 30 states have lost their jobs since the end of 2007. It says unemployment is set to rise from 8.3- percent to 10- percent.
