Venice Film Fest closes with surprize award for German filmmaker

The Israeli anti-war movie “Lebanon” won the Golden Lion for best picture at the 66th annual Venice film festival. The Special Jury Award went to German-Turkish director Fatih Akin for his comedy “Soul Kitchen.
