June 1, 2010

Eco-friendly wind power has considerable potential around the world. Be it at wind farms perched out on the high seas or across green fields – if there's a breeze, energy can be made.

It isn't the actual number of wind turbines connected to grids around the world that demonstrates the potential of wind energy, but rather their capacity to produce electricity.

Legend:

MW = megawatt

TW = terawatt
