When your daughter dons a niqab

Salafism is an ultra-conservative form of Islam that follows Sharia law. It is considered a driving force behind the radicalization of young Muslim men in Germany – some of whom joined IS ranks in Syria and Iraq. In this installment of our series on Salafism, we hear from a mother whose daughter has converted to Islam, adopted the niqab and married a man her mother sees as a fundamentalist.
